Journal articles provide focused coverage of a topic or issue. They are published regularly, making them a good option if you need something more current than books. Some of them are peer-reviewed/evaluated by experts in the same area.

How to search for a known article

  • From the Catalogue, search Articles and more by title, author or any other information of the article. If you can’t find it, search Books+ using the name of the journal to see if the Library has a print copy of the journal that the article is in.
  • Search Google Scholar (via the Library website) by title, author or any other information of the article if available.
